1.EUROASİAN KYOKUSHIN KAN CHAMPIONSHIP


1: INTRODUCTIO

This is the official invitation to the first EuroAsia KYOKUSHIN KAN championship, which will be held from February 15, 2023 to February 19, 2023. The EuroAsia championship will be held in Antalya, Turkey. The organization is being held by Shihan İsmail KOCAL, Head of Turkey Branch, and Shihan Uğur Baran, Organizer.

As the Turkish delegation organized this organization for the first time, we expect a very good organization regarding the EuroAsia Championship and Kata Tournament.

7: DOCUMENTATION AND INFORMATIONDuring the weigh-ing / check- in, you must be prepared to give the following Information or documentation: ➢ Name and Birthdate, Nationality. ➢ Show ID or Passport (to check the nationality and age). No copy may be made as per international laws

➢ Licence copy for National Team athletes

➢ Medical report approved by the doctor. (all athletes)

➢ Parents’ permission (Authorization) (only for competitors under 18 years old).

➢ Responsibility letter (you will have to sign and complete the document at the weigh-in)

➢ Personal accident insurance policy for all sportsmen

➢ Must pay the participation fee.

8: KATAS COMPETITION.

The competition will be divided into two rounds. Four competitors of each category with the highest scores will pass to the Finals. Competitors will be allocated according to the year of Birth.

9: KYOKUSHIN KAN KATA CATEGORIES

➢ CHILDREN 8-9 YEARS OLD, boys and girls.

➢ CHILDREN 10-11 YEARS OLD, boys and girls.

➢ CHILDREN 12-13 YEARS OLD, boys and girls.

➢ JUNIOR 14-15 YEARS OLD, boys and girls.

➢ CADET 16-17 YEARS OLD, boys and girls.

➢ SENIOR 18-35 YEARS OLD, men and women.

➢ SENIORS MASTER M1 -36+46 YEARS OLD, men

➢ SENIORS MASTER 36 YEARS AND OVER, women

11: GENERAL RULES CONCERNING THE COMPETITION


➢ Only Official forms will be accepted, forms will be attached to the next email.


➢ Along with this newsletter we send you the kumite rules for Children and Juniors, the official kata rules for the Championship.


➢ All Organizations are accepted.


➢ It is obligatory to write the name of the trainer on the inscription to be accepted. The maximum number will be 3 trainers because in our competition there will be 3 tatami.


➢ Each Kyokushin Blood group from each country can register an unlimited number of competitors per category and weight.


➢ The organizers have the right to cancel the event or change the category and weight if there are not enough participants.


➢ Men and women are not allowed to compete with each other.


➢ The KUMITE competition among adult contestants will be held in the weight divisions.

➢ With the approval of the Kyokushin Kan Sports Branch Referee Committee and the tournament organizers, the organizers have the right to change the weight categories, taking into account the number of competitors and the competition conditions. However, this statement must be clearly stated in the competition application form.


➢ When at the weigh-in procedure it is discovered that the weight of a competitor exceeds the upper limit of the weight category they applied for, the competitor will be given the opportunity to lose the excess if unable to do so they will be disqualified, or if possible (with the tournament Committee’s approval) given the option to compete in the category above. If the weight of a competitor is less than the lower limit for this weight category, they can participate in the competition, but the weight of the competitor shall be considered as equal to the lower limit of his weight category, if it is not possible to change category.


➢ In an individual bout, one of the competitors is called “AKA” (“Red”) and is differentiated by the red ribbon fastened to his belt on the back, and the other is called “SHIRO” (“White”) and is differentiated by the white ribbon fastened to his belt on the back. The SHIRO competitor is called to the competition area first, and the AKA competitor second.


➢ The use of competitors' names causes problems of pronunciation and identification. Tournament numbers should be allotted and used on identifications (ZEKKEN) in addition to the names whenever possible.


➢ The competitors that do not present themselves when called within 1 minute will be disqualified (KIKEN).


➢ No competitor may be replaced by another.


➢ All competitors must always obey the Referee’s orders.


➢ Coaches must present their accreditation together with that of their competitor to the designated area. The coach must sit in the chair provided and must not interfere with the smooth running of the match by word or deed. Only one coach is allowed to accompany a competitor to the competition area as his second.



➢ If, through an error in charting, the wrong competitors compete, then regardless of the outcome, that bout is declared null and void.

➢ Contest area should be covered with semi-hard matting.

➢ Kyokushin Kan have the authority for the matters not described here.



COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVES CANNOT BE COACHING, THEY MAY WATCH THE CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE SECTION ALLOCATED FOR THEM, THEY NEED TO BRING A COACH WITH THEM

12. DECISION CRITERIA

Competitions will be held according to the rules of Kyokushin Kan published on the official website.

13: REFEREE, JUDGES AND ARBITRATORS,

15.02.2023 Referee Course 13:30 - 15:30,Referee Course and Coach Meeting will be held in the hotel meeting room.


The official dress will be:

➢ A white long sleeved shirt with a single pocket on the left breast.

➢ Plain black trousers without turn-ups.

➢ Blue colour tie.

➢ Officials (Judges and Referees) must wear a hair clip with long hair, so there is no obstruction and the referee can observe the match clearly.

➢ red colour whistle

➢ Plain grey or black socks, barefoot on the tatami.

➢ Black shoes

14: OBJECTION PROCEDURE

The coach having conflicted ideas about the results has to apply in written form for the objection to the objection committee with a fee of 250 euros and a video of the competition within 15 minutes of the finishing of the competition. The objections made after the specified period of time will not be accepted in any condition. The 250 euros amount of money will be returned if the objection was correct.

15: DOPING

15.1 All athletes may be subject to doping control in accordance with the standards of the World Anti-Doping Association (hereinafter - WADA). 15.2 All athletes must comply with the rules of the WADA Anti-Doping Code. In case of violation by athletes of the WADA Anti-Doping Code, refusal or failure to show up for the doping test, they will be sanctioned according to the WADA Anti-Doping Code (up to the point when the athlete is completely disqualified.


16: HOTEL AND ACCOMMODATIONS

Country representatives will not pay accommodation and airport transfer fees. All participating athletes and their families and friends who will be with them 15-19 /02/ 2022 It will provide 4 nights accommodation in a 5 star hotel between.

All-inclusive open buffet unlimited food and beverage varieties. The total fee for morning, lunch, dinner and night meals, airport transfers is 400 Euros. You will be able to benefit from the Turkish bath, sauna, indoor swimming pool, patisserie, non-alcoholic bar and all kinds of activities free of charge in the hotel.

All countries are required to pay at least 50% of the exhibitor lists and guest lists before 30 31 DECEMBER 2022

All countries must send their participation lists before 30.12.2023.

17: TRANSFER

Antalya Airport to hotel and hotel to Antalya airport (and of the championship) transfer are free.

18: OFFICIAL HOTELS

The hotel name and link will be shared with you as soon as all entries are in, and the participant list has been completed. The location will be Antalya / TURKEY 19: ACCOMMODATION

1. The Kyokushin kan Kumite and Kata Euroasia Championship will be held in the Hotel Gym.

21: PRICING


The costs regarding the Tournament per participant will be 400Euro’s. (Cost include Hotel, Tournament Fee, Food and Transfer)
